Calling all the fine folk who know accessibility when you see it, who understand the meaning of independent living, who are members of bespoken, and all those who haven’t yet signed up; can your combined knowledge of disability and adaptations help a disabled person?

Bespoken received the following message from a member who has successfully appealed for advice through our online community in the past. Let’s keep up the good work and support them once more!

Here’s the story -

“A friend who is a permanent wheelchair user cannot hold her head up so it is falling slightly to the right but bending into her body which makes eating and speaking very difficult. Is there anything out there that would hold her head in position comfortably enabling her to speak and eat normally?”

‘How can I help?’ – I hear you wondering out loud. Here’s how in two steps;

1)      Sign in to bespoken or sign up if you’re not yet a member. bespoken is a non-profit website and exists only to help people who have disabilities.

2)      Scroll down to the comments section and share any ideas, pointers, suggestions you have.

Thank you for your help,

The bespoken team
