Did everybody see "the Big Life Fix" on Wednesday evening (BBC2 9.00pm)? In the programme they do what we do at Remap - an expert meets a disabled person who is prevented from doing what they love doing by an impairment of some sort, then they make a device or piece of equipment to help the person overcome this hurdle. Very inspiring!

Here at Remap we have been working behind the scenes with the programme makers and are providing the necessary ongoing support to those featured in the shows.

If you need your own Big Life Fix do ask Remap! www.remap.org.uk Everything we provide is free of charge, made by experts and properly risk assessed.

The great thing is that there is a whole bunch of designers and makers all over the country putting heart and soul into creating solutions for thousands of people every year. Between us (DEMAND), MERU, REMAP, Designability and Cerebra there's not a lot we can't do so spread the word! A great place to post any challenges you might have is on www.cracked-it.org where you'll also find some great ideas for solving everyday challenges.

Hi Fiona, Just looking at Demand's website. I particularly like the example of JJ getting an adaptation to play the piano from his bed. What a great thing to do for someone.

Great things you do for parents too who have limited mobility. Love it,

Oh God, yes I saw Emma's story in a short clip. A terrific invention. It get's very emotional when she finds herself able to draw again for the first time in years.

Yes and a solution for the tremors that come with Parkinsons that might prove a major breakthrough. Three more stories tonight!

Hi David. I haven't seen it yet but I'm hearing a lot of good stuff about it. Everyone's talking about the young photographer who got a great new design.
