To be a member of the disabled community does not and should not imply we all have the same physical and mental challenges nor do we share the same needs for help and assistance. Blackwood care and LCIL have joined together to provide a free training course for anybody wanting to become a personal assitant to a disabled person. The training is a 2 day course that is designed by the LCIL and delivered by disabled people to ensure that the participants been trained get the most out of the 2 days and have a greater and deeper understanding of the issues that disabled people face.
