We are expecting a visit from a "Nordic Delegation", including representatives

from several countries (Island, Norway, Denmark, Sweden)at the University of Glasgow on Wednesday the 14th of September in the afternoon

(3pm / 5pm)

 The delegation is from the Nordic Welfare/ Nordic Centre for Welfare and Social Issues. See their website on:

The delegation is visiting Scotland to learn more about:

1. IT supported systems for self management / home care for people with long term conditions and / or special needs

2. IT supported care systems for assisting older people living in their own home.

If you are either users, developers or involved in the use or promotion of these technologies and are interested in participating in the meeting, could you please contact me on bespoken and let me know how you can contribute to the meeting?

The workshop will take place from 3pm to 5pm at the University of Glasgow.

Attendance is free but the number of places at the workshop will be limited

so please do contact me if you were interested in attending and I will send you an invitation to the meeting (travel expenses to attend the meeting will be reimbursed by the delegation).

Also, I  understand the delegation would like to visit additional sites on Thursday the 15^th of September so if you have any suggestions regarding who the delegation should meet, see, please do not hesitate to let us know
