I’m a wheelchair user but can walk very short distances. I am looking to travel and have a dream of taking part in some kind of exciting experience/ physical challenge with other disabled people. I have done lots of travelling before and loved it, but I am not looking for a holiday this time. My ideas are quite broad at the moment, but something I would love would be to go on some kind of alternative treck through the Amazon or a mountain climb, or alternatively, to work with disabled people in a different country. Basically, I want to be amongst other people with disabilities, working towards something that broadens the mind and will really challenge me, physically and/or emotionally. I have done quite a bit of research and can’t really find much. Does anyone here know of anything that could help me or would anyone be able to point me in the right direction? And does anyone else share my desire?!
