The first-of-its-kind Freehand™ from AbleNet provides computer access simply by touching fingers together on a special glove. Originally developed by Iron Will Innovations in Canada for the gaming and industrial design markets, the AbleNet partnership allows them to offer this unique product to the market for persons with physical disabilities. With any amount of limited hand movement, you can configure Freehand to replicate any computer keyboard command. Type, click, tab through options – anything you need to do with the touch of a finger. Think of Freehand as a wearable computer interface.

Features

  • Replicate any computer keyboard function using downloadable configuration software (PC only)
  • Once configured, Mac and PC compatible via USB interface
  • Over 30 “contact points” for dozens of possible combinations – allows for nearly any finger movement to be a “switch activation”
  • Breakaway magnetically-attached pod for safety
  • Use with computer software, SoundingBoard™ or other switch compatible apps, electronic whiteboards, and even some wheelchair controls
  • Three sizes (small, medium, large)
