Technology is everywhere you look and a massive part of many peoples lives. Many people could not manage without their new smart phone or their laptop. Technology makes advances at a rapid pace every day and that means that there is always new gadgets on the horizon. bespoken have decided to take a look at a few new inventions that are out there and the ways that these new gadgets could change the way we do tasks. From ordinary tasks to medical procedures and the way it could help people live a more independent life.

Google

Google are known for their search engine but have also flooded the market with gadgets.

Google Glass

A control app for wheel chairs which we talked about last year received the full funding and is now at the prototype stage. Other apps which have been created are apps to help deaf children/adults to communicate with other people through their smart sign app. It is also being explored on how it could help medical professionals with doing operations and being in contact with top surgeons when performing difficult surgeries.  Google glass 2 is in development and will improve all its primary features. 

Samsung

Samsung have not started developing smart glasses as of yet but have developed a smart watch which has potential to rival other smart watches out there.

Apple

Apple is a little late to the party of smart watches as many companies are on their second editions.

I –watch is rumoured to be hitting the market in 2014 and could be an exciting time for buyers.

With all this technology it is only a matter of time that someone out there will make apps which could change lives. One idea we had in the office was that you could use google glass to make an app that helps you plan your journeys using street view and you can actually go test your route. You could see if there would be any difficulties that need to be encountered and if you need to re-think your route. We know that many of you out there have great ideas and are wondering do you have an idea for something different?
