Do you want to stay in touch with your loved ones but find smartphones way too complicated? Ownphone allows you to connect with people and enjoy simplicity at every stage of your life.

OwnFone is the world’s first personalised phone that connects you instantly to the most important people in your life. A little phone with a lot to offer, OwnFone’s innovative features make it easy to carry and safe for anyone to use; simply press the name or image of the person you want to call. You can have up to twelve names on your OwnFone and it even receives calls too! Easy to use by seniors and children alike, the OwnFone is simplified and pre-programmed to call a special set of mobile numbers and nothing else, which makes it very different from the touchscreen smartphones favoured today by most consumers.

Ownfone can be used day to day or as an emergency phone. It is rechargeable and its long battery life means it will last up to a year on standby mode without a charge.  It comes in a wide range of colourful designs so there’s an OwnFone to suit everyone. Small and light, it is credit card sized and only weighs 40g, which means you can keep it on you at all times. OwnFone's service piggybacks on Vodafone's network, but text messages, roaming and data services are not available.

OwnFone is ready‐to‐use straight out of the box. There are currently a variety of payment plans available. Just like the OwnFone, the prices are straightforward. The OwnFone handset is available with a choice of name or image buttons and currently costs between £40 and £70 depending on how many buttons you choose to have. If you prefer to have images displayed instead of names, the prices go from £50 for two image buttons to £70 for twelve image buttons. As for the airtime prices, the OwnFone offers pay monthly plans which offer monthly inclusive minutes. For example, the Talk 500 monthly plan costs £15 and provides you with 500 minutes of calls. The handset is available on a range of affordable airtime plans that you can cancel at anytime giving 30 days’ notice, so there’s no need to worry about being tied into a long term contract.

In addition to making customised handsets, OwnFone has launched the world's first 3D-printed customisable Braille phone for blind or partially sighted people. Just like the other featured phone products, you choose which names and numbers you want to have programmed onto the phone's screen. The phone can be personalised with two or four Braille buttons which are pre-programmed to call friends, family, carers or the emergency services.

Does the OwnFone sound like it could improve the way you stay in touch with your loved ones? Check their website to see their current special offers and monthly deals. For more information, go to their website here.
