With just over a month to go, the start of the PyeongChang Winter Paralympics 2018 is fast approaching.

With speed in mind, the Paralympics have prepared a short introduction to Para Snowboarding.

Introduced in the Sochi 2014, the sport has expanded rapidly from two medal events to a much anticipated ten this year.

Para Snowboarding sees athlete compete in two disciplines (Snowboard- Cross & Banked Slalom), across three mobility categories (SB-LL1 and SB-LL2 for lower-limb impaired riders and SB-UL for upper-limb impaired athletes).
