Where: 62-64 Bath St, Edinburgh, EH15 1HF

The bad: There is limited disabled access. There is a door which is step free, however it is very narrow and won’t be able to accommodate wider wheelchairs. There is another door with a small step which the staff are happy to help lift users up, bt as we know not everyone is comfortable being lifted by strangers and for heavy power chairs its just not an option.

The Good parts: The Espy is a gastro-pub on the Portobello promenade. It is an Aussie pub so serves Australian beers as well as the old British favourites, as well as selling some Aussie crisps and pies. They have a great lunch and dinner menu as well which is definitely worth checking out if you can actually get in.

How they could fix the issues, sort out a small portable ramp and clear some of the narrower access ways to make them more accessible
