The library itself has great disabled access and is definitely worth a visit!

The issues are with the pavement and road outside. The pavement is so steep that one powerchair user has told us how she refuses to use it because it causes her front wheels to lift up. Because of this she has to use the road which is full of potholes and uneven camber. A further problem occurs when she gets to the lowered down kerb as this is also where the disabled parking is so if these spaces are occupied there is no way for her to access the library.

How can they change it? The council need to improve the pavement and road conditions. Additionally there needs to be space left with the lowered down kerb so that there is access at all times.
