It’s been over 2 years since we first mentioned the Skoog but it certainly seems to have struck a chord.

 

I don’t want to repeat too much what was already said about it the last time but to put it in a nutshell the Skoog is a soft, squishy and intelligent musical device that allows people with severe learning disabilities to play and learn about music. You can change the “instrument” you play, and the actual playing of it is done through physical interaction; you can tap it, shake it, squeeze it, you can bounce it off the wall if you like. Since we last spoke of it the Skoog has come along leaps and bounds. It now has its own forum on its website with the support of a strong online community and, most importantly, as of very recently the Skoog has become available for sale on Apple stores right across Europe and the Middle East.
