The subject of this week’s people story is someone truly remarkable- you. (Didn’t see that one coming did you?)

 

We’re going with something a little different this week for our People Story. We wanted to look at fitness at an accessible level, rather than focus on what super fit Paralympic athletes do. How do most people who have a disability work around their difficulties to remain fit and active?

 

We’re looking to you. I might be assuming too much, but you’re probably not a Paralympic athlete. So how do you keep fit? Do you go to your local gym? Is it well equipped for someone with a disability? Is it difficult to find a good, fun workout that is fully accessible? You have a point of view, and we want to know it.
