HEWI

Coming in at #7 from our top 10 of Naidex 2013 was the HEWI bathroom range which offers chic and stylish products for bathroom independence.

Why do we love them? Well their products are aesthetically stunning and would give you a functional as well as a beautiful bathroom space. They reduce storage issues by having unobtrusive, fold-away options for shower seats and grab rails. Their grab rails come with a unique nylon coating meaning they are warm to the touch with out the need for electric heating – fantastic for those chilly winter mornings!

And best of all the amount of care and detail that goes into the design of their products is beyond compare – everyone that works for HEWI is placed into an ‘ageing suit’ which restricts the wearers movement to that of an 80 year old (including dull eyesight and hearing) so that the designers can get a full understanding of the difficulties faced by those with limited mobility everyday – well done HEWI!
