Samsung includes accessibility features on new S5 mobile phone

I confess I like it when companies decide to include accessibility features - in the doing recognising that we "disabled" represent a very significant market, so don't start thinking I'm handing out pats on the back for free ... there's some serious self interest at play here.

Anyway, Samsung's new top-of-the-line mobile phone, the S5, includes technology to assist those with hearing, visual or physical impairments. Of course, as a brand new "top-of-the-line" model, the S5 is somewhat horrendously expensive but, as ever, if it helps the price may be worth paying.

As with any technology, it is likely to spread down to more affordable models over time and I hope we will see other phone manufacturers following Samsung's lead before too long.
