Teen with Cerebral Palsy makes cartoon about her disability

Dubbed "the happiest days of our lives", school can nonetheless be a frightening and difficult time when we are generally very aware of and awkward about what it is that makes us "different" from our classmates. Tegan, a 14 year old who has Cerebral Palsy, decided to educate her entire school through the medium of a cartoon.

Although she didn't feel she was being bullied as such at school, the stares she drew whilst walking between classes made her feel very uncomfortable, and it's often said that the best way to combat ignorance is education. Tegan took this to heart with this short cartoon which, although originally intended for her school, it has since drawn attention and praise from further afield with it's message of acceptance, understanding and simply put, we are all different one way or another.
