An entire row of disabled parking spaces right outside the front door (the town centre and its shops are just a couple of hundred metres away) and a broad dropped pavement leading to a level entrance, protected by automatic sliding doors. The ground floor is entirely level. As is the upper floor and gallery, where you'll find a large Internet are (many, many individual workstations - all providing free access) and a very good cafe offering drinks, yummies and free WiFi to all and sundry.

An adequate lift transports wheelchair users from floor to floor.

Staff are almost immediately at hand and are willing and helpful to locate and help obtain resources for those who can't manage independently.

At a time when libraries are being closed all around, well done Stockton for providing such a vibrant community resource.
