Etac UK, the UK powerchair division of the leading Scandinavian assistive product specialist Etac, has extended its current range of powerchair accessories, options and features, beginning with the introduction of a new, specially designed detachable bag at Naidex National (Stand C129, NEC, 30 April – 2 May 2013).

Compatible with all powerchairs available from Etac UK, this new detachable bag is manufactured in high quality, durable material and has the flexibility to be attached and carried in a variety of ways. It provides a useful storage solution for powerchair owners on the move and its compact dimensions (H 23cm x W 21cm x D 8cm) have been specifically tailored to maximise usability. Without the use of specialist tools, the new flexible Etac bag can be either attached to the powerchair back, arm or foot rests and subsequently, quickly detached if the user prefers to carry it when transferring out of their seat. Independent carriage of the bag whilst out of a powerchair is made possible by a comfortable shoulder strap that is adjustable and stows away when not in use. As the new Etac bag can be positioned at the rear of a powerchair, it is also ideal for use by carers and comprises of one main compartment and two side pockets. Accessibility into the bag is maximised with a magnetically sealed flap that requires minimal effort to open and the two, stitched-in reflective strips provide added safety when outside at night.
