Ever sat watching a game of football and not been able to differentiate between the two teams and the pitch?

For those with red and green colour blindness this was a problem when Liverpool (red) played Ludogorets (green) – it was a case of watching a load of bobbing heads.

But wait; there could be the perfect solution for those encountering such a frustrating problem – Eye2TV: a smart adapter that simply slots into an HDMI socket on your TV, but allows connection to a video source via a slot of its own.

It works with any HDMI video source, be it a PS4, Xbox One or Blu-ray player and works with HD monitors too, meaning colour-blind people can consume everyday media quickly and easily without fuss.

Essentially, it enhances the colours to such an extent it allows the viewer to easily differentiate between similarly coloured objects.

The device can be used on any modern TV and doesn’t adversely affect non colour-blind people; meaning it can be used when watching with family and friends.

Eye2TV can be controlled by a smartphone app or by a remote control and can be powered simply by plugging into a USB port – likely to be found on most contemporary TVs.
